In partnership with the Urdd and Community Music Wales Menter Abertawe has provided an opportunity this week for four young bands to practice their musical skills and record a CD.

This week Swansea youth Service in partnership with Menter Iaith Abertawe are running a Big Brother Experience. the experience runs for 3 full days with 22 participants entering the house, and the winner taking home £100 in cash. You can keep up with what's going on in the house on this blog, which will have regular updates and footage of the lastest going ons in the house. The Swansea Youth Service Big Brother Experience is a 3 day, 2 night challenge.

The Welsh language Experience is from Monday 23 August to Wednesday 25 August.

There was a great night in Ty Tawe on May 22nd, with a night of traditional Welsh singing, with Iona Herbert leading the singing. There were also marvellous performances from Heini Gruffudd and Chris Reynolds. Everyone that attended had a free book of traditional Welsh songs. After the singing, there was a fantastic gig with Gai Toms and Al Lewis entertaining the crowd.
