Canwn in Ty Tawe

There was a great night in Ty Tawe on May 22nd, with a night of traditional Welsh singing, with Iona Herbert leading the singing. There were also marvellous performances from Heini Gruffudd and Chris Reynolds. Everyone that attended had a free book of traditional Welsh songs. After the singing, there was a fantastic gig with Gai Toms and Al Lewis entertaining the crowd.

Come to a clothing swap, a great opportunity to practice Welsh and meet other Welsh speakers. Bring four items of clean, good quality clothing to swap, even designer labels! If possible, please being the items to Ty Tawe the day before the swap. £3 each.

Walkers to meet at the Dŵr Cymru car park, Felindre at 10:00 before a leisurely walk around the Lliw reservoirs - upper and lower - followed by light refreshments in the near cafe. The walk will be approximately five miles. PLEASE WEAR APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR AND CLOTHING AND BE MINDFUL OF WEATHER FORECASTS!
